Emmanouela Liagkou at Art-Athina 2026, as part of Onassis Ready
Art Athina 2026 returns to meet its art-loving audience once again, this time on new dates and at a new venue: from November 12 to 16, 2026, at Onassis Ready.
The largest annual gathering for the visual arts in Greece—organized by the Panhellenic Association of Art Galleries, with Antonis Kourkoulos serving as General Director—is moving from the Zappeion Megaron, which had hosted the event consistently since 2019. This change is due to the closure of the historic building for renovations, in preparation for the Greek Presidency of the European Union during the second half of 2027.
The new venue—the Onassis Foundation’s “Onassis Ready”—has already become part of the city’s cultural landscape. Relocating the fair to the industrial area of Agios Ioannis Rentis marks a new chapter for the event, while offering a distinct experience for both the public and the participating galleries.
Preparations for the upcoming edition are already underway, with the goal—as is the case every year—of presenting a carefully curated overview of the contemporary visual arts scene.
Application forms will soon be available on the fair’s official website: art-athina.gr
